Full product description

How it extends the insect coverage

A coverage extension. It widens the area already being protected against crawling insects by a further 500 m². It is bought on its own, including later, and it requires an RDbox Duo already fitted, which is the unit that produces the insect signal.

  1. 01

    Mounted in the additional area

Screwed to a suitable solid wall through two fixing holes, inside the area whose insect coverage is being extended.

  2. 02

    Permanently powered

Connected to a standard 100–240 V supply through the supplied adaptor. It stays on.

  3. 03

    The treated insect area grows

The wave trains that disturb crawling insects reach further through the structure, so the same Duo protects a larger floor area. No rising damp coverage is added.

What it does not do

This unit is an extension. If any of these describes your situation, tell us and we will say so.

  • It can be bought on its own, but it does not work on its own. Without an RDbox Duo installed and running it does not treat insects.
  • Adds no rising damp coverage. The treated wall area of the Duo is unchanged.
  • Nothing is killed on contact. Crawling insects are disturbed and disperse, it is not an insecticide.
  • No effect on flying insects, and insects already established inside timber need conventional eradication first.
  • Not effective unpowered. Protection continues only while both units are connected.

One size, adding 500 m² of insect coverage, at Dhs. 3,980.00 including VAT. The electrical figures and the warranty term for this model are still being confirmed with the manufacturer. An RDbox Duo must be installed and running for it to have any effect.
